  • Learn how to be safe in the kitchen and learn the skills necessary to cook independently and successfully.
  • Learn how to practice home safety.

  • Learn how to stay healthy and discuss healthy eating habits and lifestyles.
  • Identify medical emergencies and demonstrate steps that are necessary to take when in an emergency.
  • Gain independence for paying bills including room and board, phone bills, etc.
  • Self-sufficiency in banking transactions, such as budgeting, paying personal bills, establishing good record keeping skills, check writing, and basic online banking.
  • Ongoing personal development training and education designed to teach participants the skills needed to succeed in their own homes.
